NFL season starts for real again today. Yay! Time to go back to being a major couch potato on Sundays. Like that's all I need. Great weather in brotherlylovetown for a run on Kelly Drive today, but I know I'll end up never leaving the recliner, even though my beloved Birds don't play until tomorrow.
Oh well. On a more somber note, it's been four years since what I thought would be the start of World War III and it seems to me like we're no closer to defeating the element responsible for that atrocity, either in military or diplomatic terms or in terms of national resolve. I think the mess in Iraq is largely to blame for the lag on the last two fronts. If anything, we seem to be further away from securing our way of life, and it makes me sad. Well, that's enough reflection for now. I could use a shower. That'll probably wait 'til halftime, though.

I've got Invasion in my hot little hand and I'm going to watch it tonight. Has it aired yet already? I've totally lost track of time. Anyway, I'll watch it tonight and prob add to my post tomorrow!

So, I did watch Invasion last night, and I thought it was good. The acting wasn't bad at all and it was effectively creepy. I say check it out and see if you like it!
