Wow! I just got back from seeing "24 Hour Party People," and the first thing I did was put my Heart & Soul.Joy Division CD compilation on. What a joy seeing the movie! It made me so happy that I spent some time in the Northern UK when I dated the Bradford Eunuch for those 2 horny long years, lol.
Awesome of course was seeing Mark. E. Smith within the first 5 minutes of the movie! What a face, what a character! (go here and see some wonderful studies my boy did: http://www.harkavy.com/Performance/Fall/fall.htm)
Anyway, I am really giddy about seeing the movie. It makes me realize how desperately I need to get back to the UK, which, mark my words, I WILL DO.
