Been sick most of the week; the Grey Season has begun in earnest in OR. Desert boy takes a while to get used to the weather when it goes permagrey like this.
Just finished a cool book called I, Fatty by Jerry Stahl. Yes, the same Jerry Stahl who was a crack fiend doing scripts for ALF The story of Fatty Arbuckle as culled from interviews done by his assistant near the end. One of those books that you plow through in two days.
Now, I'm in the middle of D.B. by Elwood Reid, a book that theorizes fictionally about the character of D.B. Cooper and what he did after his fateful jump & escape. I'm halfway through and it's great fun. Next: Fast Food Nation....
Began sending the packages to the x in Sunny Oklahoma. I couldn't sleep the night thereafter & didn't figure out why until later. I don't want her to still effect me but sometimes.....

i REALLY want to move to the desert, i think about it often.
i am going to have to check out those books. you've inspired me to take up reading once again, i had been on a slight hiatus since college.
