so I went to this rather excluxive snooty thing
out in a suburb that imports its firetrucks
and for the first time
for this doctor's 30th birthday

it had been a hard couple of years
hard enough to make me noticeably light in the Giving dept.
and I was so happy to be at a point where I could come with presents for people on their birthdays
but doctor's have to have wives don't they?

I hate wrapping paper
when you can see equal surprise on their face
as you pull the little someting from your pocket
and the little discussion starts
as to its' best fit into their lives
the best way to fill a flask

if only those wives who so obsessed with the paper as opposed to the substance left therein
Could get off their high horse and realize
Martha did screw up
and she did screw a lot of people over
and they're not really that far removed
just not quite as rich or thin
