All work and no play makes Rich a dull, dull boy.
Actually, I got some time to realxe this weekend (for a change). Got my midi setup (mostly) working so I can start sequencing and laying down tracks. That, and earlier in the week I stopped by Diamond's for a surprise visit to my girly. I had a nice time seeing her (although brief), and still managed to get a lttle tipsy- all this at the price of feeling fucking haggard the next day at work
I decided to put my guitar up for sale as I never play it and am in need of money for more important items- namely a new mixer to use for the studio I'm piecing together. Here's the link:
Epiphone Les Paul
I got some other stuff I need to sell as well. I am selling my 6 piece Sonor drumkit w/assorted hardware, if anybody's interested. I want $850 for the kit. It's in great shape and the drums sound fucking awesome. I also want to sell my Yamaha Motif 6 keyboard- I want $1100 for it, cause its got 2 expansion boards and its maxed out on RAM.
So my computer seems to be holding up since I got it back from the shop. I got a 60 gig harddrive out of the deal- previously I had a 30 gig installed. Hopefully this will be the end of any issues. Although I will say that its reset itself on me twice since I've had it back. If it keeps up, I should be able to get a new computer out of the deal. I just want it to work long enough for me to get things together for my artwork. It seems like I've spent more time fucking around with my computer just trying to get it to work than being productive w/either art or music. Speaking of art, I plan on trying to have things together for the gallery in NYC shortly. I decided to do the gallery after all. I figure its a great opportunity for me, and don't want to pass it up. My main show would be December 15th and I plan to exhibit alot of my digital work. Check out the gallery if you like:
