So I gots my new kit setup to play on today. The drums sound better than I recall and I think I'm gonna be selling my other kit, along w/my guitar and a couple keyboards. I've had a goal of getting a hybrid acoustic/electric setup going on w/my drums and need a little bit of cash flow in order to make this a reality. The basic idea is to play triggered drums w/a few dedicated pads thrown in to control a synth rig that I want to have going so I can essentially play drums and trigger synth sequences and samples that I prearranged according to what I want to access. I figure I need a good drum brain, some triggers and pads, a good rack synth unit, a mixer, EQ and amplification to make it all heard. I want to be a machine to be reckoned with. I don't know of any other drummer that really plays like this. Its been something I've wanted to experiment with for a long time. I also need to concentrate on getting some new cymbals as I've managed to severely crack all of my crashes, which now sound like poop. On top of all this, I need cases for all my shit.....guess I'm gonna be working some major fucking overtime the next few months...that and pull in some $$$ w/my poker prowess.... Give me all your bills. I have come for your money. hahahahaha.
