So here's a sample of the interesting names of people I met during this past weekend:
Bones, Buzz, Alien, JD....
I guess to be in the rock business you gotta have a moniker to go by....
I had a fuckin awesome weekend. I've been incredibly worn out, but it was definitely worth the lack of sleep and sore muscles. I was bummed I didn't go to the Pink House party, but I'm glad I made the choice to go to D-town this weekend. I was in charge of driving the bands around for the Sony Music stage at X-Fest. I got to pick up Saliva from the hotel and drop them off for their show. Before they went on, I even got to jump up on the drumkit for a moment and get a feel for just how good it is to play for thousands of people. Fuck being nervous...I could get real used to being onstage playing music...so I guess I better get on the fucking ball w/my music then. Everyone I met this past weekend was very cool. I even snuck a puff in the bathroom thanks to the helpful, uh, security. I gots to say, after a rock n' roll weekend like I just had, it made going back to my day job just seem, well, really stupid. Hopefully the contacts I made this past weekend will help me wrangle loose the stranglehold of my current and incredibly boring job working for corporate america. I can only hope...
In other news...I finally have the full version of my DVD togther w/slideshows of my artwork. And I got graphics done for the jewel-case, finally. Anybody interested should sen me an email or something.
.....
and finally, some pix of me (with my red hair) in my natural element
Adios.
