I broke down and got myself the synthesizer I've been wanting to get for a few months now...now I really got to sign up for more OT at work...
its cool though...I think I'll get back into the music mode again as I haven't been doing much recording and really need to jump the gun here sos I can start getting my shit together....one of my keyboards is still 1/2 defunct and it was my main rig, therefore I wasn't really doing a whole lot musically.
I can finally get a serious effort together composing some music for this website thats being constructed. I was working through doing some sequencing w/clips on my computer, but I wasn't really happy w/what I was coming up with. Nothing that really hit home. What little I came up with last night just learning my new board already has potential...and I haven't even gotten into importing any samples from my sample library yet...
damn I'm excited....now I still need to order replacement chips for my other rig.
Anyone want to buy a good used drumset? I need to get rid of my older kit that I no longer need...
I'm slowly but surely building up my electro-percussion nightmare and need to get rid of some old gear to help make way for the new shit.
one day....one day it will all come together.
I think the lack of musical creation was really getting under my skin and had put me into something of a sinister mood. I need a medium to absorb my thoughts on a consistent basis and music really does that for me....w/o music, I dwell on things too much...and that tends to make me sort of pissy. I'd much rather spend my life w/a a beat flowing through my veins than just sit around motionless....
