man...I finally got my chip in from Germany to fix my synth thats been DOA for close to a year....about time man. I was almost considering the fact I might just have to smash the thing to bits w/a sledge hammer just for shits and giggles. Hopefully everything will go smooth when I install the chip- correctly this time. Before I drop the chip into it though, I'm gonna spend some time sampling the cool, quirky noises it currently produces from the fried chip currently installed. The fact I was even able to get it to make any noise at all after what I did to it is sort of a miracle in itself. If I'm able to resurrect the monster, then I'll really be banging. I've been jonesin' to make some music for awhile now, and its hard for me to put together songs w/o it. I can't really play on my drumset and go "hey man- this is how the song sounds. Do you hear it?" Naw. Just doesn't seem to work for like anything that requires a melody.
On a side note- my computer now makes really weird noises that emanate from from my CD/DVD drive whenever I turn my comp on or off or open and close the drive. This sort of pisses me off as
A: I just got my computer paid for
and
B: This is the 2nd time my CD/DVD drive has fucked up.
Now is not the time for me to just go and drop my laptop off to be repaired for like 3 weeks.
What a crock of shit.

To my girl out there in SG land: I think about you alot. Maybe too much. I think its making me unhealthy. I might have to come over and let you "doctor me up" a bit. Help ease the pain.


To all the rest of you folks....I'll try and meet up w/ya at the next SG event. Hopefully I won't be so busy that I can make it out. I got alot of plans as of late, and I do miss hanging out w/all you peeps. It always seems to be a good time.
