ok so I'm staying up entirely too late lying around buck naked in my bed because I fucking feel like it. Not a whole lot been going down lately. No clever sarcastic comments coming out my mouth tonight. Practiced w/my guitarist for a little while, my other guitarist fucked up his hand when he fell through my coffee table, so he didn't play tonight. I'm still getting used to my new set. I like it, but it needs new drumheads cause' the ones that came w/it are soooo fucking generic and shitty. I've almost busted em already- cheap fucking plastic that they are. Got my keyboard semi-fixed over the weekend, but it still doesn't sound right....it makes really scratchy and weird fucking noises, which is actually sort of cool. I'm gonna sample the best ones that I can get out of it while I wait for the new chips to ship over from Germany. No sense in letting some cool noises go to waste eh? Now if I can only find the power cord for my sampler....
A friend turned me onto this band called Guano Apes. I never heard of em before...I actually sort of like em'.....I guess that'll be my guilty pleasure for awhile....up until this weekend when I see Aerosmith. I'm pretty sure they'll put on a badass show- even though they've really taken a bad turn as of late, what w/playing with Brittany Spears and the like.....grrrrr. I only like em' for the early years. Fuck the new noise....its trash. My friend had tickets so I figured what the hell....I wouldn't mind seeing em' before they get to the age where they need walkers and oxygene to get out onto stage. I still wouldn't mind seing the Stones for that matter....but not for $100plus a ticket like they were charging last tour. I'm content w/my DVD of the shows....
What I'm really waiting for is George Carlin in May. Oh man that's gonna be awesome! My tickets for the show are some of the best seats in the house, so me and 5 of my good friends are gonna be loving it...and hopefully dying of laughter.
Now's it off to bed so I can wake up and face another day. Yeehaw.


-ok I will never ever under any circumstances type "yeehaw" again. I don't know what got into me.....
