Been busting my ass getting things fixed up on my house. I should have all my stuff moved by next weekend. Until then I'm busy painting, staining and finishing my floors, having carpet installed, patching holes in my walls, tearing down wallpaper, refurbishing my cabinets, moving appliances, etc, etc....Gearing up to get the fuck outta' my apartment.
We're having a party on the 19th to celebrate my girly Ap0cAlYpSe_Me0w 's birthday (which is actually the 15th). We've decided to call it the Off-Pink House Party...seeing as how my house is a dirty pink color.
For all that are coming to the party, please be respectful of the fact that I will have just moved in and my house is a work in progress. However, this isn't a license to fuck my place up, either.
Here's a few basic rules:
1. I'm getting new carpet, so please leave yer shoes at the door.
2. Anyone deemed to be an asshole will be promptly asked to leave, or promptly escorted out. It's my house, I decide who gets to stay and who gets to leave.
3. Please respect my property- I don't come to your house and fuck things up....that is, unless you want me to.
4. I have one toilet, so if you have to get sick, puke outside. It washes away easier, and nobody's trying to piss over a drunk, passed out person.
5. DO NOT lean on my porch rails outside. The porch on the right hand side of my house, is, shall we say, unstable.
6. Sorry kids, but NO SMOKING in my house. Outside please. I have asthma, and I just painted the walls as well.
7. You are welcome to pass out in whatever sleeping space you can find, with 3 exceptions, MY room, the bathroom, and the middle bedroom- it has been reserved.
There is plenty of parking in my driveway and on the street in front of my house. My address will be posted in the events thread. Closer to the party I will also post my cell # in case anyone gets lost. Directions will also be posted here a day or so before the party.
In other news, time also grows closer for my gallery show. It's just over a month away! I've got my hotel and flights reserved. I'm fucking ready! I should have some solid links to post for the show in a couple of weeks.
Until then.....it's back to work!
