Damn the weather has been nice this fall....this seems to me to be one of the nicest falls in recent memory. Its put me in a good mood, and I've broken out some music that I used to listen to back in the day around this time of year to help keep the mindset going.
This weekend I'm going to Cleveland w/Ap0cAlYpSe_Me0w to see NIN.
If you couldn't tell......I'm a little excited. The 1st time I saw NIN was back in 1995, my 1st major concert......almost 10 years later I'm seeing them again...crazy how much I've experienced between then and now....crazy how even though I've changed so much, I'm still inherently the same.....This year's concert finds me on the cusp of finally realizing an ambition that was only starting to brew in my brain when I saw NIN the 1st time....10 years later I've got a full-blown recording studio setup (including the type of gear that Trent used to record The Downward Spiral on)
and will soon be ready to release a musical fury of my own......I'm about to be doing just what I've wanted to do for years now....take my chances at doing art and music as a real profession...taking it as far as I can take it....and I think I've got a pretty good start, as I'm showing at The Agora Gallery in December, (December 15th is the opening) and I've got the tools to make the sounds in my brain a reality. Hopefully I finally pull it all together...I've got my fingers crossed.
And goddamnit, I know this is random, but fuck E-Harmony.com....I'm tired of seeing those fucking commercials and listening to this dude that looks like he should be selling Werther's Originals to me tell me about how to find ultimate compatibity.....what a fuckhole.
So I'm supposed to close on my house next Tuesday. Fuck yeah!!! I'm pretty fakkin excited about that too.....I'm 25 and I'm a homeowner.....I never really expected this in life....I suppose alot of things have happened this year that I never really expected....I suppose once I get close to my birthday I'll give a recap of what's been one hell of a year.
