i'm soooo excited. eve ensler is coming to st. xavier university, which is right by my house, for their valentine's day production of 'vagina monologues'! she's supposedly doing a book signing, and she's going to speak at the end of the performance. i fell in love with the show when it was performed at depaul, and now i get to meet her and get my book signed! i'm ditching meetings and class that day to stay in the area and see the show, so it'll be a whole nice-valentines-day-thing w/ the bf. yay!!

yes, i am a southsider too. i used to live around comisky park, er, 'the cell'. i moved out to Malta last year, it's almost 2 hours out of chicago, past aurora, past dekalb. it's out there man, and the food really sucks here too.

oh, and i played on sxu's radio station a few times in 2003. i played the local live revolution thing they did, and did the launch of their webradio too.
