Unh, worked until almost eleven thirty tonight. I busted my ass. Did get some decent tips though, but if I never see another dish as long as I live it will be to soon!!
Is a dishwasher too much to ask for?? mad Seriously, waitresses in big resteraunts have it easy. I do the job of four people. Waiting tables, cooking the food, bussing tables, doing...

Hello, saw you in grumpyoldbastard comments page. Checked you out, and just have to ask: Tom or Colin (Baker, that is)?

Let's see, Mom's out of the hospital and back home. Yay. My little brother, on the other hand, may be making his own hospital trip, Mom says he seems to have Pleurisy.(Super Pneumonia)

My younger sister hasn't spoken to me since my abortive trip back home last month. Seems she's holding it against me that I couldn't make it on the plane. She has a...

Ooooh, I went to see Underworld 2 today. It was awesome.
Great special effects. Can't wait for the next installment. biggrin But, it was cold as hell! Went to see it with Kevin's brother, we had to walk up to the bus stop. Only about a twenty minute walk but damn! It was frigid, add in the twenty minutes we had to wait for the bus...

Well, you see it's... research! Research is required for all great things in life. Wisdom doesn't come without an investment of time! So through careful study you have become a Whologist! An impressive title, I must say! biggrin

Oooh! Thank you for the Olympic review! Wait. There were cows on ice? And skaters with flames coming out of their heads? Those are 2 of my favourite things in the world!!! Though the whole human heart concept seems kind of creepy for an opening ceremony. Hmm. Perhaps the whole forest thing isn't so bad after all.

Did I mention the French chef??? biggrin

Damn, I love screwdrivers. Oh yeah, I'm a liiiiiittle drunk. biggrin Sitting here, four int he morning, drunk off my ass, eating bread and jelly and drinking Tim Hortins Coffee. LOL Played a few rounds of Euchre at the bar tonight. Some people just should NOT be allowed to play, dammit. They should have given me a handicap for having Duggie as my partner! I mean,...

Haven't heard from you in a while. Just wanted to make sure you're still running around playing cards and drinking screwdrivers! biggrin

I understand anti-social! It's handy to have from time to time.

As for the Olympics, I think I'll need a summary from you. I've been in the forest all week with no tv, radio etc. I realize the Olympics are happening in theory but it's all very abstract to me at the moment. frown

Here's the thing. I'm still here, in Columbus, instead of in Rochester freezing my cute little tushy off. I have had the day from hell. I have no nerves left, they're all raw, bloody and screaming at me to mercilessly mangle the next poor soul who crosses my path.

I never even made it onto the plane. It all started because I'm a dumb fuck...

Well, I'm off tomorrow to Rochester. Cold, cold, cold NY. Yech. Still haven't started packing, I'm busy getting over my hangover so I can go do laundry. biggrin Drank a few too many screwdrivers last night. Heh heh heh Holy crap I was drunk.
Came home about three, fell on the couch and watched a crappy monster movie on sci-fi for two hours because I was...

There seem to be 2 styles of hero in those movies. The really dumb one who feels compelled to go into dark rooms/forest, etc without weapons and normally in a tank top (I particularly love that logic when dealing with critters that bite) and the macho hero who charges blindly into empty areas shooting like a madman and yet not taking the time to do silly things like aim!

I think all I need to survive in a monster movie is a friend who is slower both physically and menatally than I am!

*sniffs heavily* I wonder who could have stolen your undies... guy sounds like a prick... confused I also have to do laundry tonight. Boooooo.

Is there really such a thing as too many screwdrivers though? Yeah, you have to pay for em later, but that's LATER. Oh yeah, there's no such thing as a good movie on TV at 2AM. Even if you weren't drunk and found the remote you would have had the options of that movie, weather, or infomercials. I choose Centepede any day of the week.

Funny, it doesn't feel like 2006. biggrin Spent my new year's eve curled up on the couch being sick. Ah well. We watched the Law and Order Marathon all night. LOL

In other news, mixing vast quantities of beer with anti anxiety meds is not a good thing. tongue My honey, currently taking them, got drunk as a skunk tonight, came home and fell asleep on the...

Sadly, I give it one more day before one of the cats does just that!

Sounds like a guilty chef is the best kind to have around! Roses and your favourite meal. Wow!

Best of luck with your flight. My roommate recently flew back to Ohio to visit his family and got finger fucked by 14 hours of delays on his way home. He literally could have driven to Texas just as fast.

Another lovely warm and rainy day in December? Seem to have slipped into the twilight zone. biggrin Not complaining though!! I don't suppose I could petition Mother Nature to have this weather last until spring? No?? Damn.

Sickness strikes again. mad Kevin's been dog sick for two days and now I'm coming down with it. I really, really, really hate this time of year. Work was hell...

Are you flying to New York or Hawaii? One of those sounds extremely better than the other this time of year, hehe. My family has also been happy about the warmer weather you have gotten lately. Best of luck at work, hopefully they're not too hard on you, or at least if they are, they tip well enough to make it worthwhile.

Ha! I thought I was the only one who watched the Doctor Who Christmas Special! I don't feel like such a big geek anymore! smile
