Why does drama always bite you in the ass? Got a call from a friend today. He's a little excitable and frequently has diarrhea of the mouth but he's a good guy. So where to begin...about ten years ago, a friend of ours died in a motorcycle accident, that is, his family thought it was a little suspicious but the local PD ruled it an accident and that was that. A year or so later, the person he had dropped off the night he died, was killed, cops never managed to catch anyone. Fast forward ten years and three of the people involved in the whole mess were attacked the week of thanksgiving: one shot at, the others had the brakes on their car messed with and a message sprayed on said car claiming the accident ten years ago wasn't and they were next.

I fucking hate drama. Now the cops are talking to everyone involved, the feds are investigating the department for suspected mafia ties, reinvestigating the old cases and I'm damn glad I live out here now so they can't drag me into the whole mess again.

Just wanted to vent a little. I don't miss the wierdness that was my life in New York. biggrin biggrin biggrin

I thought that sort of stuff only happened in movies! Now THAT is an adventure. though I think I would be happy to be away from the madness as well!

Oh it's definitely memorable! biggrin There are a lot of italian "families" in Rochester....if you get my meaning. My best freind as a kid was one of them. I used to think it was so cool when "Uncle" Guiseppe would bring me chocolates from switzerland and ask me if anyone was causing me trouble. :::shiver:::

When I got older my dad told me why my Mom hated me hanging out with her so much! LOL I suppose the limo conventions at his house once a month should have been a tip off!

Life was rarely dull, but I've learned to appreciate dull and uneventful! tongue
