So for my blog homework this week I'm gonna steer off topic to something of my own for @bloghomework for @rambo @missy and @lyxzen
So I had a conversation with an coworker about suicide girls, I usually don't talk to people at work about what I do on the side but my coworker is an older gentleman, father of 3, his daughter is the same age as me and he said the most beautiful thing about us and I just really felt like sharing. Although I'm not exactly sure of the meaning behind the name "Suicide" girls this is his theory and I honestly think it's amazing....
"I think suicide girls is a great representation for young girls that there is life at the end of puberty and highschool. I see suicide girls and I know who you were, you were the quiet ones in school, the art girls, the geeks, the punks, emos and goths who never really fit in with the normal stereotypes, maybe you were bullied, maybe you were a loner, maybe you were popular! Who knows! I think that even tho what you guys do labels you as soft core naked pinup artists, that's not what young girls see. They see beautiful pierced and tattooed women who are strong and confident, potentially exactly what they wanna be! it also shows young girls who are in a sad place in life that even the outcasts can rise above the normal and be beautiful stars. You were the suicide teens and now you're grown up and are the suicide girls. Strong, confident and powerful. You guys walk with a purpose and the world knows it!"
