funnyman

tonight was fucking amazing. i can see this lasting for quite a long time. not once during the 7 hours we were together were we at a loss for words. there was no awkward "first date" feeling to it. it was as if we had known each other forever. first we went to the olive garden. while we waited for the table to be ready, we went and walked around the block in the rain. when we got the call, we were soaking wet, so they gave us towels to dry off with. we ate and exchanged life stories, then went to super vid to look at jess' pictures from mexico, and i brought mine from switzerland just for the hell of it. when we were done with that, we went to barnes and noble. when we first walked in, we went to the bargain table. there was a book on "digital etiquette" that we got a few laughs from. then i spotted a photography book on tuscany. we stood and looked at each photo throughout the entire book. next, we went to the manga section and started to go through each of the various series and compare notes. yes, she is a die-hard manga fan. so that was cool. next we went to the music section and tore apart the racks and listened to all sorts of stuff, then ordered the dvd of cinema paradiso. cp=next date after they kicked us out of b+n, we came back to my house and spent an hour looking at the reef tank. after that, i showed her some of my digital photos. finally we went up to my room and watched the sea inside, which was quite good, yet incredibly depressing. my parents arrived halfway through and decided it would be fun to mess things up a little by making me come downstairs and clean up the kitchen. but anyway, we ended up back upstairs, finished the movie, and called it a night. i took her back to super vid(her car was parked there) and said goodnight. she said she enjoyed getting to know me, and would like to get to know more. so it was a smash hit success. i am happy as a drunk ferret on speed, and will probably remain in said state for quite a while. w00t w00t.
