I HATE MY LIFE!
Today, I got told by Compusa that "they are not pursuing me as a candidate" for a job that I previously held, and was fired from by a manager who had a weird personal problem with me. I am a VERY easy person to get along with, and the reason I got fired was so stupid it's beyond the realm of funny/not funny. What happened was I accidentally infringed upon a rule that had been put into place that morning. I had followed the rule(involving allowing customers to handle their purchases) throughout the day, and then it slipped my mind after we closed on a sunday. Nothing happened as a result, but I was called right into the manager's office and fired on the spot for being a "security risk". So ever since last october, i have been scraping pennies to be able to afford my photography and pay my bills. Meanwhile, this jackass was still raking in insane amounts of cash. The employees all knew he had something against me from the start, and told me that he had told them he did not like me and was going to get me fired whatever the cost. Did anything happen? No, of course not. Now he quit, so I reapplied, as the job had good pay, steady hours, and the rest of the staff was great. But I got turned down, even though I can run rings around most of the people that work there(a couple of the techs have me beat fair and square), yet they take people that know nothing. Gotta love corporate America. Anyways, i am going to go beat my head against the wall(yes, i like beating my head, what can i say?) in hopes that i will get a job offer soon.
