today was fuckin' awesome. i woke up, went into philly to take the view camera back to school, and then decided to take out a digital slr from the cage. so, as i was getting into the elevator, laura calls and tells me that she is dropping color theory, and is on the adjacent elevator heading down to the lobby. so, we decide to go and get some breakfast at good ol' manhattan bagel. so, 2 everything bagels later, we go to rittenhouse square to futz around with the digital camera. so we do all kinds of crazy stuff with the statue in the fountain(which is dry at the moment). first, it bore the metal ruler of doom, then the ever-powerful nikon f5 with paintbrush attachment. and last, but CERTAINLY not least, it bore the ceremonial FlashPod. Afterwards, we went and scanned some shit(rather boring, i might add). Finally, we went back to her apartment and headed for the roof(after some tasty nachos and a cold sam adams, of course!). Her apartment building is actually a converted munitions factory from back in the day. needless to say, i went happy-go-japi on it with the digital rebel. i shot more pictures today(350) than i shot the entire time i was in switzerland. i will post them tomorrow, cuz i have to get up in the morning for class. parents yelling. bad. fuck them. pics=hot as hell!
