watched "Crash" on Friday night. blew my mind. or maybe it was the 5 o'clock gin and Cherry Coke that did that.

spent the day Saturday reconditioning a dental operatory. first one I've ever done. next time you're at the dentist, it's the box that all the drills are attached to via hoses, with all the knobs and switches and stuff on it. you wouldn't believe how many little parts, valves, and tubes are inside one of those things. it was quite a learning experience. especially without a manual or any schematics to work from. but I nailed it. i rule.

went to see "Chicken Little" Saturday evening. cute movie. not life-changing or anything, but the details in the animation amaze me nevertheless. it's apparent a lot of effort goes into the making of cartoon movies.

enjoyed the day Sunday at my parents' "estate" in Livonia, exchanging yard work for usage of the laundry facilities. Honestly, though, I would've gone over there even if I had clean underwear. It really felt good being over there, helping out, interacting with members of my family. although 3.5 acres equals one hell of a lot of leaves.

I GOT TO RIDE A DIRTBIKE! my little brother had borrowed it from a friend so he could ride his girlfriend's son around on it. I've never been on a motorcycle or anything of that sort before, and I was nervous, but it was way fun.

and now i'm sitting on my couch, wishing that this stupid fucking cat was out of my house already, cuz it reeks of cat shit in here, and we cleaned the litter box out less than a week ago. biting my tongue now. you're welcome.

and that's a recap of my weekend. a dramatic insight into an exciting life. yay.
