Today was a good days, it was supposed to rain but we had good weather. I had to pick up some stuff near my old house and asked my dad if he would mind if I stopped by and went swimming in the pool. Anyway, after taking a lot of crap from him, he finally agreed as long as there was no evidence whatsoever I had been there (can you say ASSHOLE?).

Anyway T came with me and we sort of made a day of it, (we decided to skip swimming because my dad is such an anal bastard) we hung out in the park and it was a great feeling to know that I could feel that kind of happiness without drugs or alcohol.

After, we came back and had lunch at subway and then went on to T's house where we watched drawn together and some other stupid tv shows. Unfortunately t's friends came over and I decided to leave. I had a weird experience with this black guy who kept trying to sell me his metro ticket (which I eventually bought) and then made my way back to the life of living with crack heads and junkies and having to worry about all my possessions.

Today, I overcame several temptations to use and had a great time being sober, I really want to remember today every time someone offers me drugs and remember that it's not closed minded to just say no, it's actually the only intelligent answer
