I got new sneakers for free, and they're fucking awesome.

Lately, it's the stupid shit that makes me happy, like neon sneakers, hairdye, or Taco Bell. This makes it pretty hard to have any kind of hippie cred w/in the community we're living. So i don't have any friends here, b/c they all think i'm citified, as if they know jackshit about me.

My birthday is eleven days away. I don't think anyone i know IRL remembers or cares. The idea of a birthday w/out presents, or cake, or any other kind of acknowledgement, makes me want to hide in bed.
