Haha so, the girlfriend left me night before last, and no I am not exactly happy about it, but last night I went to a rad show with a few of my friends. Sevendust, Cold and Atomship. All three bands put on stellar performances, as expected. I have seen Cold like 4 times prior to this, so I knew what to expect from them, but Atomship seriously suprised me with their opening act. Sevendust of course put on a good show as they are infamous for having raw energy. I was right up against the barricades, where I wanted to be but I got kicked in the head about four times more than I wanted to. Oh well it was fun. After the show we hung out with the guys from Atomship for a few hours and talked to Lajon for a little while..all very cool, down to earth people that aren't all cocky and full of themselves which I can truly appreciate. I bought a Cold Army t-shirt for me and well, my ex is a huge Sevendust fan, so I got her a cute little black and pink '7d' babydoll with swirling stars on it. Sadly it' gonna look cute as hell on her and I can't do anything about it... I dunno if that was the right thing to do or not, but I told her I'd get her a shirt when things were still good between us, and I try to keep my word no matter what. I tried to get Lajon to autograph the shirt for her too as she really likes him, but he was so busy trying to be fair and hang out with everyone that he didn't have time before a post-show band meeting. oh well I tried...even though she won't believe me haha
