Macs are weird. I miss Windows.

My computer died. This is the first time I have ever lost a computer to anything other then a virus that was my fault for downloading. It's a much nicer feeling, normally I feel like a complete dickead when my computer dies. My new PC has shipped apparently, fingers crossed its here soon.

Anyway the first half of Hamlet...

I'm going to see Hamlet at the National Theatre on Saturday. I have only ever seen Shakespeare performed as a school play (Midsummer Nights dream, my sister was ace) so I am really rather excited about seeing some for real for the first time. I might even feel cultured although that would be a bit of a lie.

My third year at uni seems to...

Maybe if you could convert one of the drawers under the bed into a fridge?! It does look toasty cosy though!

I've woken up thinking it's Monday. I'm really fucking confused right now. The worst part is I was expecting my regular web comics to have been updated and now I'm at a loss as to what to look at.

Otherwise not much is happening. Really struggling to focus on my uni work even though I have lots of time. I just can't make myself sit...

I was happy to see woking get a draw.

I bought FM2011 through Steam about an hour after its release after pirating last year. My first save is playing as City (obviously). Playing as City is going to be very easy so I'll probably get bored after a couple of seasons and move a bit lower down to Forest maybe. Then when I get bored of that I'll move to Altrincham.

I've only played a few hours, but there are some significant improvements. Edin Dzeko's agent is a real cunt and getting him to agree terms was a tortuous process. Match engine seems pretty solid and haven't detected any serious glitches so far. You will cave at some point, no doubt. wink

My timetable for uni gives me one class a day, four days a week. I know some of you who have real jobs in the real world will say that that sounds amazing but trust me it is really hard to motivate yourself to leave the house and do a round trip of nearly two hours for what will be at most two hours of...

As promised here is the mega blog documenting my extended celebrations of the fact that I am not 30 yet.

The celebrations began with a pub crawl. I think all the best celebrations should. We managed to visit 14 pubs. I failed to stick to my rule of only 1 drink per pub as people forced me (possibly at gun point) to have more. Thank...

It feels like I've been celebrating not being 30 for 3 solid weeks now. I think this weekend is the end of the events though. Epic blog detailing my adventures will follow soon.

Adventures will include:
What I remember of my pub crawl
Dinner with family
Record shopping with the better half
The Vaselines
Argentinian foodie goodness
Brugge
Carcassonne
Possibly other things that I have...

What doesn't kill me can only make me stronger.

Doesn't feel like it right now.

Technically I'm not sure that saying really works for alcohol.

Good point, I was taking the view that I'd be soldiering on at work, despite being in pain. It never really occurs to me that you can legitimately take time off work for sickness or injury.

too true sir.
I'm fairly certain I played my tape with Gala on it (yeah, on both sides) so much it snapped...

It has been a while eh?

Not much has been going on, working a little, slacking a lot.

The football season has started again (the proper football season, not the premiershite which I am aware started a few weeks ago) and me and my Dad went to see the mighty Hassocks FC defeat Farnham Town in the preliminary qualifying round of the FA Cup. 5...

Thanks for this Fry, I've applied for a bunch of stuff with Reed but because they're so big it almost doesn't seem worth it. Seeing that 100 other people have also applied for the same job doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.
I've just registered with Huntress, hopefully something will come of it. smile

Life is trundling by. I'm epically good at being lazy, it comes so naturally.

Exactly! It helps with the laziness!

Thanks buddy. It means a lot, it really does.

Some things I can watch again and again. Probably number one is this

It is the length of time the fullback is going the wrong way that makes it.

What little things make even the worst days bearable?

I feel like I should write a new post but I haven't really done very much recently. I've played a lot of Football Manager but I'm pretty sure that doesn't count as serious activity.

As I've nothing interesting to say I will ask for recommendations for new games on my PC. New to me that is, not necessarily brand new as my laptops video card...

I'm going to be watching your replies for ideas for games.
I take it you've played every Monkey Island game ever released? If not, why not? x
