Its strange how different things can look when you're on the outside looking in. You see a friend trudging through almost the exact same shitstorm you have recently emerged from and you ask yourself "Did I look that terrible? Was I as transparent to others then as you are to me now?" You know nothing you say to them will help, after all nothing could help you, they can't hear you over the deafening wind of their own emotions. It's like watching the path of a hurricane via satellite, where the storm's path and behavior are easily determined, and standing in the middle of a hurricane with nothing but confusion and chaos.
