So here I sit. Random thoughts:
Men fear prison mainly due to the possibility of being raped. A man in an American prison has about a 18% chance of being raped. Hence the fear. Women have a 27% chance of being raped simply living their lives in the real world, not prison. Perhaps the male gender could learn about and change the way women are treated.
We have so many transparrent hate crimes in our country. Hate crimes depend on the victim being either jewish or a visable minority. Or different faith than the "norm". Rape is not considered a crime of hate. As we all know, rape is about power. Hanging a black man from a tree is about power. How are they different? Hate is actually the same as power....it just depends who is on the receiving end of the abuse...according to the law anyways.
Some North American social activists hate cars and oil. They hate leather and red meat. They hate the G-8, they hate rich CEOs. They hate cops and politicans. They often toss these aside in protest. "I will not be a part of this" they say as they burn a GAP advertisment. But they still use computers, fridges, cotton, Mr.Noodles, plastic, pleather, paper, pens. radio, guitar...products of a society based on hate and slavery....all the while they remain on land that does not belong to them...
