a new week begins. vancouver : week 3ish.
still downtown in my apartment overlooking robson and burrard. its bizarre back home - i can see forever - here - buildings block the world.
all the people. its truly strange to be stuck in such an urban place. i CHOSE this as an experiment - back home i have a house in a relatively quiet neihborhood within walking distance of boutiques, restaraunts - here - they exist beneath my very apartment. every step brings me no further away from people - lots and lots of people. im actually kind of liking it.
although i know at some point im going to take the advice and go hide out on some island for a few days.
hmm. whats new. well, work is starting to inch its way forward - we did some stuff last week that got us the kudos of the team. nice. OH. sunday night, got to see a screening of a movie i worked on for 15 MONTHS. yah. i cant believe it either.
one day i'll share. for now - its coming out soon and should be an interesting affair. lets see what happens. it isnt MY movie - not some independent pr0n flick i poured my heart and soul over - no - its a big budget thingamajic that i slaved on. who am i kidding - i love this stuff.

so i might go check out a rave this weekend. wow. last raves i went to i was the act. the inside guy.a performer. musically, even. that was years ago. huh. why dont i still go to them? well, i dont know.
THAT i blame on age. the not knowing part - not the not going to rave's part. i probably had a reason not to go - and i've just forgotten it. should be fun. tho' it could be a trap. ;-)
