birthday party was good.

fauxhawk came by.
we watched folks getting whipped.
i got presents even though i asked for none [thanks everyone!]

now im off to the motherland for a weekend stint during my *actual* birthday - to see old friends and whatnot. you know - fave restaurants, drinking holes, company, ex-gf's - the whole 9 yards.

it's going to be great.
