that's so true - there is this drive towards the impossible that develops into a nerosis in most writers....especially when it comes to thel etting go. that's why i don't post any of my own writing in my journal - i can't trust myself that much yet.
but in terms of productivity i would still rather write the quantity and quality of neruda than what i seem to be headed towards....poetry just flowed from him. really remarkable.
