So the trip to Monterey was fun. The kids had a lot of fun. We won the field show part of the competition. we never practice parade stuff and it shows, because we had a major collision. Oh well. Did I mention I hate parades? So one of my students has a crush on me. This is a bit akward. Why is it that 14 y'o pit girls have crushes on me and not 32 y/o pit girls?
I also realized that I have more fun with and identify better with the high school students than I do with the rest of the Staff. I have a good group of kids. I really enjoy teaching them. Any idea of how to deal with this crush thing with out having her want to quit?
