My first post! alright!
Well, I'm currently at the University of Ottawa. Because my grades weren't fantastic coming out of high school [its not that I couldn't get higher grades, its that I didn't try, which dug me the hole I'm about to explain], I only got accepted to university for Economics (and not Computer Science, which I wanted).
So I'm finishing my second year of economics, And because I hate economics, my GPA too low to switch to comp sci (though I've still been trying...).
If I don't get into computer science by September, I'm going to have to opt for a college diploma in comp. sci. instead of a full on degree like I would have hoped.
All because I dug a hole in high school.
But you know what? I'm not going to let this get me down. I'm a good, fun, happy person; I enjoy my life, I have good friends, and I know with hard work and dedication I can get to wherever I want to go.

I dug a hole in high school too, but that's because I wasn't challenged and didn't give a shit. I'm all about questioning everything, and I wanted explanations, but the teachers in high school wanted me to simply spit out the answers without considering the options.
