So, four weeks of DSL service and things are fucked up. SBC seems to drowning in complaints and I haven't been able to get a live person on the phone yet. Depending on which recorded message I hear, their system is bogged down with a virus, or their system is running fine but I probably have a virus on my machine. 
At any rate, it's left me pretty much internet-less at home, which I guess frees up some time.

My mom comes to town in a week, she's here for 4 days and then we fly together to NYC for a relative's wedding. Should be interesting to see how well this all works out...

Saw them live once then almost again, but the venue got flooded while we were waiting for them to come on.
Sadly that was the last I heard of them.
Hope they haven't split.
ICO is a pretty short game so it won't eat up too much time.

Early May seems to be gaining more and more significance in my life of late. I have one image of my father, sitting at the dining room table looking up as I walk in the room. That's the only one which sticks in my head. Even that is fading now. Sometimes he turns up in my dreams, but often he's just a feeling or a gesture I see in my sister or me. I can't fully remember his face. I remember things he used to say and his smile. Odd.
I'm off for a brief walk with my sister. It's nice that she lives a couple blocks away
