Things I did this weekend:
-Watched a bunch of episodes of Band of Brothers (inspired to do so by these letters I was just given that were written by my grandfather while serving in WWII.) Powerful stuff.
-Rented the Zeppelin DVDs and just left them on in the background for hours, letting them work their magic on me.
-Made my friend Maeve a Johnny Cash mix CD for her birthday.
-Bought the new Pelican album.
-Read the new Steve Martin book (which I'm also giving to Maeve for her b-day.) Thought it was kinda dumb.
-Bought a new bookshelf stereo for my bedroom to replace the one that got drenched and fried when I tried to remove the window air conditioner right above it.
-Exercised a bunch(!).

Tomorrow it's back to the blood factory. Life really doesn't feel too bad right now.
