Just spent some time in phone company hell. Came home from work a few days ago to find no dial tone. Took a 1/2 day off from work to have the repairman come and get here to find it working again with no explanation. When the guy showed up he said that he'd tested the like an hour earlier and there was a problem, meaning that there was nothing he could do now but it would probably stop working again sometime soon Oh well, at least it's working now and I can get back online to see what I've missed here.

Went to see a Kurosawa film at the Music Box last night and when I got there the lady at the counter said they were closed for a private screening. After I made a sad face, she said, "They're showing School of Rock and it's just about to start. Go on in if you want." . Fuckin' A! The movie was godamn hysterical and I came out in a great mood.Let's here it for the small victories!
