The Queens of the Stone Age played at the Gypsy Ballroom last night!!. It was such a great show. I got there just in time to see their second song. I worked late today and didn't get back to Dallas until 10 or so and then hauled ass over to deep ellum. Anyways I bet the venue was atleast 100 to 200 people past capacity and I thank the city of Dallas for being as inefficient as they always are, cuz if they weren't I'd bet money that the show woulda been shut down. It was so crowded it was almost impossible to move. I was in the back by the merchandise tables. The sounds back there was actually very good. Here is a list in no particular order of the songs played: Feel good Hit of the Summer, God is on the Radio (totally new version BTW), Go With the Flow, Songs for the Deaf, Monster in the Parasol, Lost Art of Keeping a Secret, Little Sister (new one), Broken Box (new one), another new one that I don't know the name of, and then for an encore they played Mexicola and Regular John. They played other songs but I can never remember all the songs a band plays when I see them. Got a Tshirt, and a limited edition poster for tonight's show. anyways i'll write more if somehting interesting happens to me.
