Just got back form the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas. Saw an incredible show: ISIS, These Arms Are Snakes and Yakuza. These three bands kick ass in heir own way. Yaukza started things off with a strange mix of sax, guitar, drums, bass and screaming vocals. They really got their moneys worth out of their delay pedal. These Arms Are Snakes again were awesome and EMO in style (i've been told anyways). Screaming vocals and the singer jumping off the monitors and thrashing around and singing/screaming his ass off. Kick ass musicians. Then we have ISIS. You guys need to check out all of these bands if you like metal/emo/dc punk type stuff. ISIS used long droning instramentals spliced with heavy fast death metal almost sound with screaching vocals. They've got like 4 albums out now and Tim (one of my friedns that went tonight) picked up their earlier work at the show. So go see these bands, you will not be disappointed.
