Thee Parkside was sweet.
i wanted to leave about an hour before we ended up actually leaving but gobuildinhell was having a great time with Donkey and Tuffy and didn't want to leave.
however, Aeowyn was crying her fucking head off inconsolably because she wanted to go to sleep.
uh? lame situation.
everyone was rad...sort of.
Docbombay was very nice, though EERILY familier, NinjaRobot and i hung out and waited for everyone else to introduce themselves. we were sorely disappointed.
LE gave me a hug and i think was kind of weirded out by me being so nervous to be there.
i am not a creep, i just rarely go out.
i am always braced for the worst when i go out.
Dave_H and my husband hit it off and were, quite possibly, the loudest people there.
he's rad. i like him.
Ninja Robot and i decided that if we kind of hang out with him we will end up accedentally being introduced to new people because we are standing so close! nope.
just us talking to each other again.

i am sick. i didn't get to sleep until 3 and Aeowyn woke me up at 7 this morning.

we were both pretty comfortable there. we didn't even feel the need to put on our "other people are around" masks and act like jerks to each other.
He was really able to relax with Dave_H there being just as loud as he usually is, and i didn't geek out and get weird because NinjaRobot and i were talking geekdom and wandering around trying to be brave.
but yeah, i was contemplating how it must feel to be an SG at any sort of event...
especially if someone is really icky...AND they've seen your ass.
filling out my application to be an SG soon...i just need someone to take a better picture of me, as matthew sucks at it. (he thinks i'm cute even when my tits look all hangy, i'm making a lame face and my belly's pooking out...i mean LOOK at the website! and if you've met me LOOK how much cuter i am in person!

Later, when we were driving home he told me you didn't even show up.
