yay! i made my deadline... now i can blow off work and do some serious xmas shopping tomorrow... i mean today later...
edited to say: i got half my xmas shopping done! feeling much better about it now...

i got to see the wonderfully perplexing christmas truck light parade this weekend. quite the non-event, but then again it isn't every day you see dozens of big rigs, lit up like xmas trees, rolling down the street.
