This weekend is gonna be good. I can feel it. Here are the general details:

Friday: Practice with the band during the afternoon. Drive home from SF and get drunk with some friends

Saturday: Recover then go see the Melvins

Sunday: Recover then go practice some more with the band.

I think my first show with this band is somewhere in SF on the weekend of the 23rd. You should come!

I'm currently recording a solo record. It's nice having a "studio" here. It's also nice that I can play all the instruments. Sometimes it's hard relying on other musicians. ESPECIALLY drummers and singers.

I've been listening to Failure's "Fantastic Planet" and Grandaddy's "Sumday" lately.

I'm gonna watch "Coven" tonight because Mark Borchardt rules.

I'm nearly done with the book I'm reading.

I am fully aware of the suck-factor concerning Merced. Merdead. We've had some rad shows here, though (Grandaddy, The Decemberists, Deerhoof, Norfolk and Western).

Never been to Clayton. I'm guessing that's a good thing?

ahh, i am so obsessed with iron chef. did you see the two with bobby flay? jessusfuckingchristonacrutch, what a coked up freak! i think they just let him win the second time because the judges were afraid he would bite there ears off or something...
