Lemme see here...What is new?

One of my cats is attempting to set the world record for cutest sleeping positions. He's almost there.

The Melvins are playing Saturday, I think. I wanna go even though I just saw them not too long ago. I don't know anyone that's free Saturday and I'm too much of a wuss to go alone. Are YOU free? I've seen them countless times and I have enjoyed every fine performance.

I had a rehearsal today. I had to fight Sunday evening S.F. traffic on the way home with a headache. That sucked.

I've been thinking about my last girlfriend, We dated for five years and it's been almost a year since we last talked. I'm wondering what she's doing now and who she's fucking.

I've been listening to Gil Evans a lot lately. That guy could arrange a tune!

What style of facial hair is hip right now? I grow, trim, shave, and do over constantly. I hate it when I'm clean shaven and I do so want to be cool y'know? I just don't want to buy a mesh cap.

oh, except a good french knife... *sigh* there's nothing like it. i have a wushtof 50x carbon steel full teaked one... the blade is about 11 or 12 inches, and i've become more attached to it than dr ping (a stuffed penguin i've had for as long as i can remeber)... despite my knife being considerably less cuddly.
there's a novel called stanley park (i think) that i made a mental note of reading... it's not a tell all, but it is about chefs (fusion and old school as gangs pitted against eachother) and it sounded funny.
