oh my we are out of the country group. considering your band favorites maybe you can answer this question for me that has been driving me apeshit. what was the group that mike patton and john zorn had with the japanese guy that when he "sang" chunks would fly out of his throat?

I love my coffee...

So...I was just watching the Lost In Space movie on TV. The one from a few years ago. The young daughter is hot. Who is she? I'm too lazy to look it up. Is she of age? Can I have her?

I should go out on weekends more often. I usually save my going out on the town for weeknights. Less...

i drink vodka out of coffee cups and hold discussions on the Charles Martel and the predominance of the Carolingian dynasty in effect to the Renaissance... nooo, did i say that?.
sci-fi has been on the agenda recently, but after spending a week out to dry on finals week and helping my parents move into their proxy home of an 1890s plantation house deep in the heart of Mississippi, I must digress and formulate an answer to such a puzzling question...formulation complete... I consider bad sci-fi to be rooted in the plot, since many sci-fi actors are not well-suited for the genre of the 50 million geeks with computers and Shatner discussion threads on imdb. Recently, I have re-watched old episodes of Space:above and beyond....which i feel was the best sci-fi series to portray the omnipresent human condition in times of struggle...don't get me wrong, it is not of the visual fortitude of "trouble with tribbles," but it tends to bring up nostalgia and presence of a good read from my youth.

The Pianist is such an amazing movie. I am so happy I went to the theater and saw it on the big screen.

Dearest Journal,

Sorry for my rant last night. You're the best and I didn't mean to hurt you.

I'm so stupid with computers. Why can't I get my damn profile picture right? Squashed blurry me...

I watched "Standing In The Shadws Of Motown" today. That is a fine film. Anyone else seen it?

I think I'll stay home tonight. I had my crazy night last...

hmmm, I can't think of any TV that I'm ashamed of liking- I watch primarily true crime/autopsy show, Law & Order, and Cartoons. I do, however, secretly watch really saccharine romantic comedies, especially if they have a Southern element. Like "Hope Floats", and "Divine Secrets of the YA-YA Sisterhood". I know, I know, it's disguting. please don't shun me.
rickroyal:
I'd say that that was actually a very good reason to turn down sex. But I'm kinda strange anyway.

Not so much embarassed anymore, but I used to feel strange about telling people I really liked Sailormoon.

Thanks for the compliment. Alas, the birthday was filled with neither sex nor Benihana Specials. I went with the seafood combo, so I got my lobster and shrimp but, alas, no steak.

Hi Journal,

I think you should shave my ass. Only because I am an idiot, I turned down sex tonight, I turned it down because the girl didn't like to read. I must be getting old. I'm even drunk! Now! I AM tossed. Stupid, stupid me...

Well, I've decided. Finally. I'm moving to the City. San Francisco, here I come. When? I don't know. Soon....

yes, let's trade mixtapes. It's a fun personality test. Plus you have good taste in music so I'm pretty sure I'd like whatever you send.

Dear Journal,

I really have nothing exciting to tell you right now. It's still hot out and my AC no longer works. I think there's a freon leak. Can I die from that? I hope not.

I've been rehearsing all day. My fingers hurt. Perhaps I should dip them in my icy beverage? NO! Of couse not. Germs are bad. Mayhaps I should use my...

Goddamnit. It is still hot. Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, and hot. I am not a happy camper in the meteorological sense,

I did join a great band today. Pidgeon is the name. San Francisco is the town. They've already got a record deal and gigs so at least the hard part is out of the way. They are some talented kids...

The concert last night (Ruins @ Hemlock Tavern) was a mini-disaster. The show sold out but we managed to sneak in as they started playing. We could barely see anything and it was hot and too crowded. I compensated for this by getting drunk. I am such the problem solver.

Thanks to all of you that gave me cd recommendations. I shall check them out...
