Hmmm it's particularly depressing when no one seems so visit your page or comment on anything..

Granted, I've been here 2 days, but some bastards are getting 293 comments on each journal entry!

..and not many people seem to want to accept my pending friend requests.

Anyway, I wonder how easy it is to just decide to move to New York?
How does anyone manage that anyway?! The flats must be fucking expensive?!

*mental note: make friends with someone from New York, then move in with them and mooch of them for as long as possible*

Alternatively, I wouldn't mind living here.

Here's a tip, I don't know if you've picked up on this: there is a feature called "Bookmark as interesting." Use it to mark people, comment on their journal a couple of times, and then request their friendship. It works better. My boyfriend is a newbie, too, and he gets sad that he doesn't have alot of friends yet, but it just takes time.

As for the whole moving to New York thing, I have no advice. But, yes, the apartments there are ridiculously expensive.
