today started off with some sad news.
my friend's cat passed on.
it wasn't a suprise. he was 16 years old, diabetic and his systems were failing.
they've asked me to perform a ceremony for him.
of course i'll do it.
i've come to be their personal minister.
i actually became a minister so i could marry them.
and it's gone on to include all kinds of religious endeavours.
i really enjoy it.
it definitely helps me to feel grounded in my own work.
knowing that there are other people who believe in me believing in what i believe in. such a nice feeling. sometimes spirituality can be a little abstract for me.. it just helps to bring it all back around again.

so, here's to lancelot..
a great 6-toed cat.
may he pass through in peace.
