So, I'm thinking that falling asleep from 2-5 (which I wasn't expecting) and then having a coffee (I have self-control issues. lol) was not the best move on my part. I'm wide awake!
Earlier today, I "cashed in" some "virtual beans" the company (#1) never told me I had and (#2) sent me a warning letter in the mail to use up before I lose them. Gotta love those "virtual" beans.... way better than you're average, everyday analog ones.
So, for 5 years of service, I was gifted with 2,000 beans. I go on some random website to cash them in for prizes. How far can you get with 2,000 beans, you ask? Well, let's just say..... about $20 far. I looked page after page to find something fun (or at the very least, bizarre) to show people "this is what I've earned for being such a dedicated employee. What I ended up with I am pretty pleased with.....
While on the work subject.... I am very sad my friend and coworker, Justin, is moving away in September. He is the little brother I never had and, like most of us, I spend way more time with my coworkers than with family and friends. This is a big loss for me. Who else will I be able to have a discussion with regarding the subversiveness of Bill Cosby's "Ghost Dad"?
