Productive day today. I helped record some piano tracks for a friend of mine. We discussed some of the issues with the tracks prior to mix down so that they can be solved. A blatant issue at the moment are the drums. They need a lot of work and reworking. The guitars sound good but Roger wants a bit more out of them. He complained that the tone isn't quite there yet. Over time we'll figure out how to get the right sound. A little experimenting is always good. Next week I get to take on the long and boring task of transfering everything over into my setup so I can start sculpting the mix. Should be fun after that point. I already have some ideas to work with and I want to do a few spiced up remixes after the entire mix is complete.

Time for some sleep. I have work super early and then a photo set later in the day.
