My dear friend @helainked has a brand new set out, Don't Wet the Mogwai, and it is sensational! Seriously, you don't want to miss this wonderful tribute to Gremlins, movie nights, tattoos, and a supremely sexy lady. It's currently at 981 Likes, and I honestly think it should be much higher and that this set should be SotD, especially with Halloween coming up.

Recently I have been going through some stressful times. If it weren't for the presence of some very good people in my life, it would have been much harder. I know that others are also going through some tough times. Because I believe in a positive approach and a safe space (and don't really use groups... lol), I am reaching out to all the

@fullfeeling sometimes people return to their abusers.  It's hard to face.  One thing I stand by, is that the good catches up.

Life has been overwhelming me lately and I'm definitely on my way to burn out. Work is super busy, with the parents becoming more and more of a problem, one of my best employees quitting last week (to go to a more appropriate job) and the subsequent reviewing of resumes and doing interviews and hopefully hiring and training someone, friends and family going through

You deserve happiness so much. From what I know, your life isn't going to be everything you ever hoped for but I know you will always enjoy and appreciate the good times and make many amazing memories. It's even worth putting up with the shit for! ❤️
fredhincanada:
@dicentra Thank you. I appreciate the sentiment and you. ❤️ Yes, I always try to find the positive.

Seven years ago, to the day, I came home from dropping my niece off at the Airport, to the love of my life telling me she wanted a divorce.

It’s also National Chicken Wing Day.

Guess which one I decided to celebrate today? 😬

(Left is Parmesan Herb, Right is Honey Garlic)

One of the things I love about the SG community is that everyone can be free to be themselves. As open or closed as they like, as happy or sad, as chatty or quiet as they choose. True, some people come here for the nudity and sexuality, but many of the people I have encountered here are just that; people. Living life and sharing

That 'knowing' feeling was the same one I had, when my sister lost her daughter. Also, I know what you mean about signs that they are okay afterwards. Things like that are really amazing. Especially for people like us, I think. Even though we don't believe in religion etc it still provides comfort. I don't know about you but for me it still gets me thinking, I don't believe this could be all there is... whether we ever find that out, or not. Judy sounds like she was an amazing woman, the way you talk about her would make anyone want to know her. I absolutely love that, when someone can talk so positively about the people in their lives, even behind their back. She would be happy to know how loved she was and that would have provided some comfort to her. I know it's a horrible thought to think of someone suffering and being scared like that. I feel that, even about animals and people I don't know. I think the most important thing though, is that when we die, people around us can say "I am so happy I knew them, so proud of the person they were." I know, that's what I would hope for. That's exactly what it sounds like Judy made people feel about her. There's no positive thing about death, but she is free from pain and fear and I have no doubt that she'd say she was happy to have known you too. I know this is an older post but it's recent enough for me to want to have acknowledged it and I know you will always feel the same way.
fredhincanada:
@dicentra I still miss my friend greatly, and wish her and I could talk and catch up. It still breaks my heart.

Today I lost someone I love. My friend J passed away in the Hospital surrounded by family and friends, but I wasn’t able to be there with her.

I have been crying all day. It broke my heart.

I’ve known J since grade school, and she always had a kind heart, a joyful spirit, and a welcoming smile.

She was there for me during my

Yeah, I know I’m late. Technically, it’s Summer here, but I promised that I’d do this questionnaire and it’s been weighing on me for a while, so let’s get ‘er done! Thank you to @weedfarmer for creating it and thank you to @richsquared , @rare , @realwildangel , @kungfury , @jjtjames5x , and @tastyzombie for nominating me. I shall not forget the ... "kindness."

Way back on May 1st, I was celebrating my Birthday at a nearby club with my friend @darcydiamond. We were up to our normal antics and she had to step away for a minute, so I checked my phone. When I logged into SG, I discovered that I was one of the winners of @penny’s A-MAY-zing Spring Challenge. Which only added to my

I know, I know, I know. I'm behind on catching up on SG: messages, posts, sets, comments, likes. I apologize and I promise that I'm doing what I can to get back to that point. I want to continue some of my recurring posts (After the Flesh, Tip Engagement, Four for Freday, etc.), too.

I'm solidly stuck in busy season at my work, trying

Some days I just need some Megadeth. Well, truthfully, I need Megadeth every day. But an old remake of their own song, to include Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil, with the video set in a post apocalyptical future? Well, everyone needs that.

I have seen Megadeth live 13 times and Lacuna Coil live twice. This is such a great collaboration. And I promise, there...

@sheashannara You are welcome for the collab. It's great.  Y'know, I don't think the song is about suicide.  In my mind, it is someone who is dying and knows that they are and is just trying to say farewell.  That's my interpretation, anyways.
