@darcydiamond is not only one of my Hopeful Besties, but also one of my online besties AND one of my IRL besties, so I’m going to make this blog homework about her.
I had seen her posts on SG and did some likes and comments and whatnot. We were polite and cordial with each other, and were distant friends. Then one night she posted on SG that she was dancing in a club not too far from me. I messaged her to say I wish I had known, because I would have loved to meet her in person, but it was too late that night, and it was her last night dancing there.
She responded that she wished we could have met, too. Then we made plans to connect the next time she came down to dance. And we did. We hit it off from minute 1 and hung out several times over 3 days. Thus started an amazing and supportive friendship that I truly cherish. We hang out as much as possible when she’s around and we get up to only a little mischief together. Really. Only a little (for us).
