Instead of taking the pulpit to be pretentious and list the typical "I love equality, peace, my family, my pets, and my friends, et al," or the equally typical "I hate bigots, entitlement, diseases, government and hate," I have elected to take a page out of @vinzolando's book, and made this far smaller and far more personal. After all, all of those are things that should go without saying, no?😏 I'm just going to fulfil the requirements of this 'survey' talking about restaurant-ish food items. 😬
5 foods I love (like, I would walk across the city on foot, fight a rabid badger for it, and eat so much of it that I would die):
1. Bacon-wrapped Beef Tenderloin from Bolero's in Calgary.
2. Tempura Sushi from Sushi Ginza in Willow Park Village in Calgary.
3. Beef and Chicken on Rice, from any Edo.
4. Those damned addictive cheese buns from any Red Lobster.
5. Spaghetti Carbonara (dry) from Chianti Café, also in Willow Park Village in Calgary.
5 foods I hate (I've had them more than once and hated them every time).
1. Beef Dip from any Boston Pizza.
2. Beets ... Anywhere.
3. Eggs Benedict from Smitty's restaurants.
4. Dairy-free pizza from Panago Pizza.
5. Anything made from the street waffle stand in Zaragoza, Spain.
