My rule has always been no more animals than people in the household. Since divorce I've become more flexible on so many things. I've never been allergic to cats before this new (ish) butterscotch boi, who has evolved from a stone-cold streetcat killer into a rather demanding cuddle machine. He's actually pretty good about sharing the bed with lady friend, tho - just goes over to my other side to find a different angle to bunt me from.
