Okay here is my crazy update.....
On my belated way to a David Sedaris signing at The Strand in Union Square, I spot Zui in front of a shoe store and totally check her out. After gushing my adoration, (she's such a cool chiquita) we exchange numbers and agree to meet up the next day. The Sedaris signing was incredible, not only did he sign both of my books complete with pictures, he gave me a bar of soap from the Ritz Carlton in Cleavland as a graduation present. Groovy, huh?
So the next day, after dining at a charming french bistro on the Upper East Side with my step dad, ex-boss and her newphew, I proceed to head down to St. Mark's place to buy some tibetan skirts for my brothers upcoming wedding and them promptly meet up with Zui and her delicious friend, Josh. We then speant the next three lovely hours tramping around SoHo, China town, the West Village and the Lower East Side. Needless to say, Zui is even more adorable in person and you should all be jealous you were not me today. She is one incredible lady and I adore her to pieces.
